Summer is Here!

 4-H Youth & Families with Promise Families and Mentors

As you all know the last 3 months have been very busy.
We have been NASCAR Racing, spending a day with the Averett University's Baseball Team, Fishing Rodeo and ringing in SUMMER as June comes to an end, at 4-H Camp at the 
W.E. Skelton 4-H Educational Conference Center at Smith Mountain Lake.  
The Danville 4-H Camp was held June 1-5, 2015 with a Tropical Paradise Theme.. Henry/Martinsville camped June 15-19, 2015 with the theme of "All About that Clover."  Both camps provided a week of fun adventures, life skills, character counts and most of all making new friends and memories that will last a lifetime.

Please check the blogspot as July dates for Family Night Outs and Day Camps will be coming in the next few days! Pictures will also be added from 4-H Camp as well.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

Summer safety is of utmost important.  Do not forget that helmet when riding bikes and skateboards.  Never swim alone and use floatation devices when needed.  Always check for ticks daily.
